About Us

Our History

Education is the process of imparting or acquiring knowledge, values, and skills that, ideally, contribute to improving learners and society. However, the goals and methods of education vary considerably between cultures and religions. This distinction is seen in how education is practiced in Islamic and Western societies.

Islamic education centres on teaching Islam and its religious way of life. The source of Islamic education is the Qur'an, the central religious text of Islam. What does the Qur'an teach? The Qur'an imparts to Muslims the core beliefs of Islam and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. For Muslim education, the Qur'an is the sacred writings of the Prophet Muhammad revealed to him by the Archangel Gabriel. Muslims regard the Prophet's revelations in the Qur'an as sacred, representing the word of God. Consequently, education in Islam and its teachings are paramount in a young person's development.
